Business Intelligence Specialist

Our client is a leading law firm with offices across the country. They are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to join the team. The position is hybrid with 3 out of 5 days onsite at their beautiful office in NYC . Who You Are You have a bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, business research, or business development Experience in a law firm, consulting, professional services, or financial services environment preferred Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Proficient with tools such as PitchBook, Capital IQ, Bloomberg Law, LexisNexis, or Westlaw Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI and AI research tools are a plus What You'll Do Research companies, industries, competitors, and market trends to support pitches, client meetings, and strategic initiatives Prepare executive-ready reports, company profiles, SWOT analyses, and competitive intelligence Monitor market activity and identify business development opportunities Partner with attorneys and business development teams to support client growth strategies Leverage research platforms and AI tools to deliver timely, actionable insights What Success Looks Like Research informs strategic business decisions and client development efforts Intelligence is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time Market insights uncover new opportunities and strengthen business development initiatives Salary Range: $100,000 - 115,000 annually, based on experience Location: New York, NY - Hybrid Gainor is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
