Part-Time In-House Attorney (Contract Review & Negotiation) – 6-Month Consulting Assignment

Location: Fully Remote – Must be Florida-licensed Commitment: Approximately 30 hours per week Duration: 6 Months

About the Role

Phoenix Pro Connect is supporting a growing organization seeking a Florida-licensed attorney to serve in a part-time, fully remote, in-house consulting capacity. This individual will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, employment contracts, and service-level agreements. This is a hands-on role ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong business acumen and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts (vendor, employment, consulting, and services agreements)
• Identify legal risks and propose practical, business-aligned solutions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership to ensure contracts support business goals
• Maintain templates and standard language for consistency and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (primarily Florida-based)
• Provide general legal support and guidance as needed

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Florida
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, with strong focus on contract review and negotiation
• Previous in-house or consulting experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a part-time schedule (approx. 30 hours/week)
• High integrity, sound judgment, and a business-oriented approach
