If you're going to spend your time, spend it on something that matters to the world.The Accounting TeamExamples of key problems the team is working on:Build the financial infrastructure from the ground up (NetSuite, Zip, Shareworks, Pigment).Stand up a lean finance org for the fastest-growing data center hyperscaler.Own the full stack from vendor invoice to cap table.Role ScopeRun payroll across US entities and states: salaried, hourly, and everything a 24/7 multi-site workforce generates.Own the payroll close: reconciliations, accruals, and the tie-out to the general ledger every cycle.Handle registrations, filings, and notices across new states as sites come online.Automate the inputs: time data, benefits, and equity events flowing in clean.What We're Looking ForThe below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.You've run multi-state payroll end to end at a growing company.You've stood up payroll in new states, from registration through first filing.Your reconciliations tie every cycle, and off-cycles don't rattle you.You resolve agency notices to closed, not to filed-away.You partner with People and Finance and keep confidences absolutely.Bonus: Rippling or equivalent.
