Requisition Number : SOCIA007298 Posted : July 13, 2026 Full-Time Hybrid Locations Showing 1 location Description Social Media Specialist Hiring Range $27.62 to $36.83 Summary of Job Responsibilities: The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between customer-owners, the community, and Southcentral Foundation. Responsibilities include maintaining a social media calendar, creating social media content, scheduling posts, replying to comments from subscribers or liking tagged photos, evaluating social media analytics, and coordinating with the marketing team to determine how to market the Southcentral Foundation brand and services using social media. Qualifications: SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, English, business, journalism, communications, or related area; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) years of experience managing corporate social media accounts.
