Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Game On in Plainfield, NJ. This role oversees day-to-day operations of the food and beverage program, including supervising service staff, monitoring food quality and presentation, and ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant environment. The manager coordinates inventory and ordering, supports menu execution, and works with leadership to manage costs and meet revenue goals. Daily responsibilities include scheduling and training team members, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining high standards of customer service during events and regular service. The Food and Beverage Manager collaborates closely with bar, kitchen, and events teams to deliver seamless experiences for all guests. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Food Service and Food & Beverage operations skills, with experience in a high-volume or entertainment venue preferred. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service abilities, including handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and creating welcoming experiences. Candidates should possess Training and team leadership skills, including onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback for front-of-house staff. Candidates should possess Budgeting and basic financial management skills, such as controlling costs, managing inventory, and supporting revenue targets. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with POS systems, knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with prior supervisory experience in hospitality or food and beverage management, are highly desirable.
