Position Summary
The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate-complexity cardiac ultrasound exams and procedures. This role requires independent clinical judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to identify and communicate abnormal findings accurately.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Requirements
Minimum One year of patient experience / cardiac ultrasound
RDCS or RCS in adult echo or RVT or RVS in vascular ultrasound (completed within 1 year of higher date)
Additional Skills
Experience performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and/or stress echocardiograms
Licensure & Certifications
ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography (required)
BLS certification (required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Education**
Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in cardiac sonography (required)
Bachelor's Degree in Sonography (preferred)
