As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to stay active while supporting daily operations. DayTimeThur09:00 AM - 07:00 PMSat12:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun12:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor logs, and/or deliveries in accordance with location policies and assigned responsibilities.
- Document security-related incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, clients, and/or public agency representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
