Please apply here: -5879.htmlA Head Boys Golf Coach manages, organizes, and instructs the school's golf program, focusing on developing players' skills, team strategy, and character. Key duties include planning practices, scheduling matches, managing equipment, ensuring academic eligibility, and fostering sportsmanship, while maintaining safety and supervising student-athletes at all times. Core ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Coaching: Teach golf techniques, rules, and strategies, offering both individual and team training sessions.Program Management: Create practice schedules, arrange transportation, and manage match lineups.Student Development: Motivate athletes to achieve academic and athletic potential, focusing on discipline and sportsmanship.Safety & Supervision: Ensure safety during practices/matches, supervise players at all times, and verify eligibility, including parent consent forms.Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with athletes, parents, school administration, and opposing coaches.Budgeting & Equipment: Oversee inventory, including uniforms and equipment, and assist with fundraising.QualificationsExperience: Proven experience in coaching golf and mentoring student- athletes.Certification: Valid coaching license/certificate required by the state or district Knowledge: Thorough understanding of golf rules and techniques.Physical DemandsAbility to stand for long periods, walk golf courses, and lift equipment (approx.
