We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team.

Job Overview:
The Inventory Control Specialist will plan, organize, and schedule inventory management activities, including the procurement, receipt, storage, issuance, item management, and accounting for a wide variety of equipment, supplies, and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Place orders for inventory, non-inventory, and special-order items.
- Obtain informal quotes for parts, safety supplies, consumable supplies, equipment, and contracted services.
- Monitor the status of pending orders and initiate the Accounts Payable (A/P) process upon receipt of items.
- Serve as a liaison between vendor representatives, operating section personnel, and the Procurement Division, ensuring material updates are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Receive and process financial documents (e.g., purchase order requisitions, checks, invoices) for assigned accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
- Operate forklifts and use company vehicles to transport materials.

Requirements:

- Basic understanding and application of inventory management theories, principles, and practices (gained through education or equivalent experience).
- Must pass background and drug screenings.
- Must hold a valid State of Florida Driver's License.

Position Details:

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
