Plant Manager

About the Role

This full-time position is responsible for overseeing safety, quality, and production activities at the plant site. The role exists to ensure that operations are conducted efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of the organization by delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion a safe working environment by promoting safety practices, addressing incidents promptly, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain a strong culture of teamwork, employee ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily plant operations, providing leadership to departmental supervisors.
• Analyze operational data and metrics to drive performance improvements.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with corporate purchasing on material needs.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to create a positive and effective manufacturing environment.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing operational team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Proven track record in process improvement and achieving results.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EEOC, and DOT regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, productive, and positive workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

• Purchasing and inventory management experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or remain sedentary for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard business equipment.
