Dental Assistant (with RDA)

Overview Bright Now! Dental supported by Smile Brands is looking for a skilled and patient-focused Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Medina, OH! We are seeking someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, delivers excellent patient care, and is passionate about helping create positive dental experiences. Schedule (days/hours) Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Responsibilities Current EFDA certification in the state of Ohio Prior dental assisting experience preferred Strong clinical and restorative assisting skills Positive attitude with excellent patient communication Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team player with strong attention to detail Comfortable supporting a variety of dental procedures Qualifications Assist the doctor chairside during dental procedures Perform EFDA duties in accordance with Ohio regulations Place and finish restorative materials as directed by the doctor Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Educate patients and help create a comfortable experience Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Support office flow and provider efficiency throughout the day About Us Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
