Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Seasonal Surgical TechnologistAll KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHIs vision to be among the kindest, highest quality health systems in the country. Works under the direction of the physician, Coordinator, and First Assistant. Prepares all instrumentation and supplies needed for cases, retracts tissue, pass instrumentation to surgical team as needed during cases. Monitors sterile field at all times to ensure sterile integrity. Adheres to all areas of the KHI Behavioral Expectations Agreement to include standards for Courtesy, Respect and Privacy, Communication, Responsiveness, Teamwork, Professionalism and safety. Acts as a role model to staff.
