Market Risk Program Manager

Location: Onsite 3 days a wk; Hybrid – Office location is Jersey City NJ

Required Pay Scale: $60-65hr W2

The Program Manager will work closely with the senior business stakeholders across Global Market Risk teams. The role involves building subject matter knowledge on Market Risk exposure management for the business across all asset classes and delivery responsibility. The selected candidate will bring analytical skills, ability to work in global teams, with business stakeholders as well as technical experts in order to deliver the projects and grow their career within technology. You will work hand-in-hand with Front Office.

o Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple Agile teams across multiple projects, programs and time zones.

o To be successful in this role, the candidate should be understanding the entire Agile Solution process, to learn, implement, and mature Lean-Agile principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Strong Market Risk, Risk, or Front Office experience
• Strong financial markets product knowledge
• Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery -e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
• Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams.
• Facilitates dependency management/risk management /impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
• Ensuring compliance to standards and providing end-to- end visibility into the health of the project, program and associated deliverables.
• This role ensures execution and delivery meets the clients expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
• Provide guidance about how to create and manage an intake process, healthy backlog, and how to facilitate valuable Agile ceremonies.
• Help teams to optimize implementation of Enterprise Agile standards and practices.
• Help to identify and resolve organizational impediments that impact team maturity and performance.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution across teams and with stakeholders, including external teams, business partners, and other Agile Release Trains/programs.
• Influence and guide business and technology leaders on changes that enable Agility.
• Governance Stakeholder Management - Contributes to artifacts needed for governance forums. Understands stakeholder expectations and creates regular updates to keep stakeholders informed.
• Facilitates dependency management/risk management /impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
• Supports resource planning.
