Job Description
Title: Interventional Radiology Radiologic Technologist

Schedule: 4x10 hours, Days; weekends, holidays, on call/callback per unit needs.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Two (2) years of experience
- Technologist License (NY only)
- AART Certification
- Experience in Neurosurgery/Neuroscience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Select and administer exposure factors and positioning to ensure diagnostic quality of radiologic images.
- Collaborate effectively with department members to resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare and instruct patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations; assist Radiologists during procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating x-ray equipment and imaging systems.
- Report malfunctions of equipment to management.
- Complete all assigned procedures promptly and assist with departmental duties as needed.
- Ensure the security of medication to authorized personnel only.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good interpersonal skills with all age groups.

Compliance / Notes:
- Participation in hospital performance improvement activities is encouraged.
- Maintain confidentiality using personal passwords and all patient care modules.
- Respond to technical inquiries with professionalism and good phone etiquette.
