Material Handler - 3rd Shift

Material HandlerMaterial Handlers move recyclable material through the facility, conducts material grading and evaluates for sale destination.Pittman Shift 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off7:00am - 7:00pm7:00pm - 7:00amEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMoves material through the facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, hoist, crane) as required.Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.Uses the computer to dispense and receive information such as part numbers, quantities, locations, comments, etc.Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.Completes paperwork to properly document work performed.Conducts material audits.QualificationsA. Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or G.E.DNo experience Zero (0) to four (4) years previous experience (in addition to education requirements)Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required by certain customer-contract requirements. Such testing may include urinalysis, oral swab, drug hair follicle testing and/or alcohol testing.B.
