Finance Manager Barre Unified Union School District BUUSD - Central Office - Barre, Vermont Job Details Starting Date: Immediately Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $113,643 to $125,186 Per Year Job Description The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to provide administrative oversight, direction, and planning for the district’s Finance, Accounting, and Property Operations. The goal of this position is to administer, direct and maintain the logistical and financial affairs of the district so as to provide the best educational support services within available resources. The Finance Manager will act as an advisor to the school board on all matters relating to business and financial affairs of the district and will serve as part of the administrative and educational leadership teams in carrying out the mission and vision of the organization. Responsibilities will include operational oversight, budget development, and financial, contract, and facilities management. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management, or other appropriate discipline plus 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Experience should include supervisory and management experience. Knowledge of successful practices, methods, and theories regarding financial management.
