Position: Finance Department Manager /Corporate Controller
\nJob Type: Full-time
\n \nPosition Summary
\nThe Finance Department Manager will lead a team of Staff and Senior Accountants while overseeing financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, audits, financial analysis, and KPI reporting. This role partners with business leaders to improve profitability, strengthen financial controls, streamline processes, and support strategic decision-making.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop Staff and Senior Accountants. \n
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and financial statement preparation. \n
- Review journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules. \n
- Coordinate internal and external audits and manage audit documentation. \n
- Develop KPI dashboards and executive reports covering sales, margins, labor, and overhead. \n
- Perform financial analysis to identify business risks, opportunities, and performance improvements. \n
- Partner with business leaders on profitability, revenue, expense, pricing, and margin analysis. \n
- Improve financial processes, internal controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. \n
- Support standardization and automation of financial reporting across business segments. \n
- Travel occasionally, with overnight travel of up to 5%. \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. \n
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience. \n
- At least 3 years of experience leading or managing employees. \n
- Strong experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and year-end close. \n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, complex formulas, and financial modeling. \n
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. \n
Preferred Qualifications
\n- \n
- Manufacturing accounting or finance experience. \n
- Experience with multi-entity and/or foreign currency reporting. \n
- Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and margin analysis. \n
- Experience developing KPI dashboards and executive-level reports. \n
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Management Reporter, or similar ERP and financial reporting systems. \n
- Experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, or financial data extraction and analysis tools. \n
