Floor Tech

CareCore at Westmoreland is looking for a dependable and motivated Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services team! If you take pride in keeping floors looking their best and enjoy making a difference in the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you. Schedule Full-Time 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 5 days per week, including weekends Every 3rd weekend off each month Responsibilities Maintain all hard floors and carpets throughout the facility. Operate floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors. Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors according to facility standards. Complete routine and deep cleaning of floors in resident rooms and common areas. Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times. Assist the housekeeping team as needed to maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns promptly. Qualifications Previous floor care experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus. Ability to safely operate floor care equipment. Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
