Junior Sales Consultant

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado

BOA Builders is looking for a Jr. Sales Consultant who is ready to learn the business, support a high-performing sales team, and grow into a full New Home Sales Consultant role. We are looking for someone who is motivated, coachable, and ready to grow. This is an opportunity for a person who wants to learn, improve, and build a long-term career in sales.

This role is best suited for candidates who are disciplined, self-motivated, comfortable with accountability, and eager to develop in a structured sales environment. The ideal candidate is positive, coachable, loves the customer service role and willing to put in the work to grow into a high-performing sales position.

Our Jr. Sales Consultant must be the type of person who has the discipline to work hard, be flexible, embrace coachability, be customer service oriented, and maintain a positive spirit. It is a demanding role, but it is the right role if you want to learn a proven sales technique, grow into a top performer, and are not afraid to work weekends and some holidays. This role is designed to develop you into a high-performing New Home Sales Consultant. You will support the team while learning the full sales process.

What you'll do and learn as a successful BOA Builders Jr. Sales Consultant:

Sales Support & Lead Follow-Up

  • Assist with lead generation, outreach, and follow-up
  • Help convert leads into appointments through consistent communication
  • Greet and engage prospects in model homes and communities

Customer Experience

  • Support the sales team in delivering a high-level customer experience
  • Assist with presentations of homes, communities, and features
  • Help maintain clear and consistent communication with buyers

Sales Process Exposure

  • Learn the full sales process from first contact to closing
  • Assist with coordination, communication, and internal follow-up
  • Gain exposure to financing basics, contracts, and homeownership concepts

Design Center & Model Experience

  • Assist with buyer selections, options, and upgrades
  • Maintain Design Center organization, cleanliness, and product accuracy
  • Ensure model homes and sales environments reflect a high standard

Events & Community Engagement

  • Support outreach events, realtor engagement, and community activities
  • Help drive traffic and create a strong presence in our communities

What experience and skills are needed to be our Jr. Sales Consultant?

  • Ability to operate in a technology-driven environment
  • Highly coachable with a desire to learn a proven sales process
  • Strong communication skills with a willingness to engage with people
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • Desire to grow into a full Sales Consultant role
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Must be able to work on site
  • Candidates with a real estate license may be considered only if they are willing to place that license on hold while working in this role

Pay & Benefits

  • Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site
  • Pay Range: Base salary approx. $37,000 plus performance-based commission, with earnings up to $70,000 in year one.
  • Schedule: Includes evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Benefits include: PTO, 401(k), phone allowance, 12 paid holidays

You must be willing to learn, accept feedback, and improve consistently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people and wants to be involved in the full sales process.
