IT Business Analyst Pre-Trade

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team and support initiatives across Global Macro (Rates, FX), Equities / Securities Lending, and Credit businesses. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing algorithmic trading and real-time trading applications, working closely with business stakeholders and international IT teams in an agile environment. Role and responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders (Trading, Sales, Operations) to gather, analyze, and document requirements for algorithmic trading systems and real‑time applications. Analyze business processes within Global Securities Financing and Equities to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation. Produce detailed functional specifications, use cases, and workflow documentation to guide development teams. Act as a liaison between business users, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, scope, and deliverables. Perform data analysis to support trading workflows and decision‑making (e.g., order flows, execution, market data). Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance phases to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Provide ongoing support to end users, including issue analysis, functional clarifications, and occasional training. #LI-ASD Qualifications MIN 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally in trading, pre‑trade, or real‑time systems. Strong understanding of Equities and/or Global Securities Financing business. Hands‑on experience with data analysis tools and protocols such as SQL, Excel, and FIX messages. Familiarity with trading platforms such as Fidessa, ION, Bloomberg EMSX, Horizon, Dash Financials, or similar solutions. Solid experience working in agile environments (Scrum / Kanban). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
