Server

Location: Bouzy Job Type: Part-time Schedule: Mostly nights and weekends Bouzy is seeking a part-time Server who can deliver polished, attentive service while managing their section with strong product knowledge, urgency, and professionalism. This role is responsible for guiding the guest experience from greeting through closeout, maintaining section readiness, supporting team service, and helping uphold Bouzy’s standards for hospitality, food, beverage, and floor execution. Responsibilities Guide guests through the dining experience with warm, professional service Know the food and beverage menus thoroughly and answer questions about ingredients, allergies, pairings, and recommendations Sell and serve food, wine, cocktails, and other menu items with confidence and integrity Maintain a clean and organized section, server station, beverage pass, and guest-visible areas Properly take orders and ring them in accurately through the POS system Perform assigned opening and closing side work Maintain pars of silverware, linens, and other dining room needs and communicate shortages to management Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and compliments professionally Communicate guest needs, service issues, and team feedback to management as appropriate Communicate 86’d items to servers and managers in a timely manner Help support overall service flow, including running food, bussing, coffee service, and other operational support as needed Assist in training new server team members Maintain health, safety, sanitation, and product standards Ensure CHG and Bouzy standards are upheld Qualifications Preferred Prior serving experience preferred Strong knowledge of restaurant service and hospitality standards Strong knowledge of food, culinary terms, and restaurant operations Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and other beverages Ability to sell with integrity and make thoughtful recommendations Required Ability to stay organized and work with urgency in a fast-paced restaurant environment Ability to provide professional guest service under pressure Ability to handle cash and POS responsibilities accurately Coachable attitude and willingness to maintain standards Ability to work as part of a team and support overall floor operations Role Reality This is a guest-facing role that requires consistent attention to service, section control, cleanliness, product knowledge, and teamwork. A strong server at Bouzy is not just taking orders. They are responsible for pacing their section, managing guest needs, supporting service flow, and helping maintain a polished dining room experience. Reporting Structure This role reports to the General Manager.
