You will lead a diverse range of IR procedures-including thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, intra-abdominal abscess drainage, chest tubes, suprapubic catheters-and percutaneous biopsies of thyroid, lung, and other sites, working closely with a skilled radiology team. The assignment blends inpatient stroke-imaging coverage with outpatient CT and MRI support and biopsy work, offering both variety and the chance to refine your skills.
