Maintenance Technician - 1st shift

Overview The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure optimal uptime and operational efficiency. This role supports mechanical and electrical systems and plays a key role in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems) Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs or component replacements to minimize downtime Execute preventive maintenance (PM) programs, work orders, and routine inspections Support equipment installation, relocation, and upgrades Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Maintain inventory of parts and coordinate reordering as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly functioning tools Communicate equipment issues and improvement opportunities to leadership Support training and onboarding of new maintenance team members Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of: Electrical systems (single & three-phase motors) Hydraulics and pneumatics Mechanical systems and general equipment repair Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook); CMMS experience is a plus Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
