What We Offer 401K Professional training Recognition programs, growth opportunities, and a family-friendly atmosphere Free Calm membership for you and up to five others What You'll Do Provide land acquisition services throughout the right-of-way lifecycle, in compliance with project guidelines and regulations Review and correct title takeoffs, construction plans, and ROW documents; prepare and submit Waiver Valuation Forms Deliver property rights documents to owners and representatives; negotiate and secure parcels through approved counteroffers Maintain contact documentation, conduct final title checks, manage back taxes, and ensure removal of compensated items Submit and track offer letters, counteroffers, and Releases of Damages; attend field reviews and provide weekly status reports Handle administrative tasks including mailing notifications, filing deeds, verifying condemnation parcel addresses, and organizing acquisition packets Submit vendor forms to expedite payments and support efficient project closeout We are looking for someone who Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills Is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn Has excellent written and verbal communication skills Thrives in a fast-paced administrative setting Can adapt to new systems and software environments Minimum of one (1) yearof right of way acquisition experience Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Dropbox Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems Valid Driver’s License Bonus Points if you have experience utilizing the Uniform Relocation Act! Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. This is a largely sedentary role; however, the employee is occasionally required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This employee is required to occasionally travel to government buildings which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations.
