Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 4 years of adult and pediatric ED experience on night shifts.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Care Center (main ER) of a large, high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Handles a high volume of complex, critical, and diverse trauma cases
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts per month required
• Block scheduling is generally not approved
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license — GA state or Compact license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and ENPC
• Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
• Proven experience in high-pressure, large-volume trauma environments with diverse and severe cases
• Experience in high-volume hospitals is required — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume facilities will not be considered
