Certified Surgical TechnicianBrookfield, WI, 53045 - Onsite3 months+ ContractExperience Level: 1-3 yearsDepartment: SurgeryShift Timings: 06:30-17:00 Hours Monday to Friday (4 Days/10 Hours) Per Week: 40HoursBLS, Certified; Rotating/Flexible Start and End times as neededCall: based on department needs but usually 1-2 weeknights per week, one weekend every 4-week schedule, holidays as neededRoles & ResponsibilitiesPreparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries. Sterilizing equipment and instruments. Stocking adequate supplies for surgery. Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites. Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies. Tracking surgical supplies. Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures. Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team. Helping provides great patient care.Minimum QualificationsExperience: Robotics, Neuro, orthopedics (total joints), general, plastics May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if neededRequired SkillsCertified Surgical Technician (CST)Certifications & Clearance RequirementsBasic Life Support (BLS) Veracity
