Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Active license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: - Cardiac telemetry experience required - Must be flexible with scheduling - Available to complete compliance on time - Must pass a compliance EKG exam Description: We are seeking a registered nurse specializing in PCU. This position involves working nights, three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates should be experienced in caring for cardiac patients, particularly those with congestive heart failure and related conditions. The patient diagnoses you will encounter include heart failure, respiratory failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and pneumonia. You will also need to manage respiratory problems such as COPD and pneumonia. Floating may be required as needed. Must be able to manage BiPAP/CPAP, administer blood products, and interpret dysrhythmias. You will work with an average daily census of approximately 30 patients. Must have experience with the EPIC charting system. Candidate must demonstrate strong skills in patient care and telemetry. Weekend shifts will be required, with a minimum of six shifts per contract. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam with two allowed attempts. Non-billable modules will need to be completed during the orientation phase.
