Based onsite in a vibrant, collaborative environment near Maple Park, you’ll work closely with students and educators to develop personalized interventions and champion each child’s independence and growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Possession of a current Illinois Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience serving in a school-based OT role
- Availability for onsite work, providing direct support to students and staff
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and administrators
- Ability to assess, design, and implement strategies tailored to meet students’ unique needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to elementary-aged children
- Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with educational teams to support participation and accessibility in the classroom
- Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate records, and document student progress
- Communicate with families and school personnel to facilitate carryover of strategies and maximize student potential
- Stay current on best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and school-based services
This position spans from ASAP through mid-January 2027, with a flexible 20-hour weekly schedule that allows you to balance professional commitment with personal priorities.
