Job Description

Insight Global is currently searching for an IT Project Manager to support the Cybersecurity Organization at one of its largest utilities clients in Houston, TX. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and driving the successful delivery of technology projects by managing schedules, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across multiple teams. This individual will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track and align with organizational goals while providing regular status updates and resolving project roadblocks. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of IT project management experience, experience leading technology initiatives in enterprise environments, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced setting. Experience supporting cybersecurity, infrastructure, or other technical teams is preferred but not required. This position is a contract to hire opportunity working a hybrid 9/80 schedule with 5 days onsite every two weeks and can sit in The Woodlands, TX, Little Rock, AR, Jackson, MS, or New Orleans, LA. The pay rate for this position will be between $50-60/hr.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of IT Project Management experience

• Experience coordinating and delivering technology projects in an enterprise environment

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders

• Experience managing project schedules, risks, action items, and dependencies

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies

• Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and technology operations • Experience supporting cybersecurity, infrastructure, or network-related projects

• Utility, energy, or other regulated industry experience

• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or Microsoft Project

• PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications

• Exposure to cloud, infrastructure modernization, or enterprise application initiatives
