1st shift CNC bender machine operator

Job Summary Local company in White, Ga is looking for CNC bender machine operators to join their team. Compensation & Shift Salary: $20–$23 per hour Shift: First (Monday–Thursday 5 AM–3:30 PM) Education: High School (required) Responsibilities Performs all set up and tear down of the related equipment Calculates and sets machine controls to position tools, speed and feed Inserts control instructions into machine and control units to start operation Mounts and secures tools and attachments, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments Selects and bolts holding clamp, die block and guide clamp to machine Lifts work pieces to machines manually or with hoists or cranes Measures and inspects parts using machine shop measuring tools per supplied customer drawings Modifies operating programs to account for problems during operation and saves modified programs Resolves machine malfunctions and discusses with the supervisor or programmer Performs preventive maintenance on equipment Meets production goals in relation to machine effectiveness and scrap output Maintains the machine and work area Measures and checks work dimensionally at different times while monitoring the progress of the bending process Essential Functions Wearing steel toe shoes Manual lifting up to 50 lbs Standing for 10 hours at one time Skills CNC Press Operation Tending Math and Calculation Maintenance Standing Blueprint Reading Basic Computer Skills Qualifications 1 year of experience Experienced level Basic knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware and software Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance Knowledge of metal properties, lubricants, operational sequences and machine programming 0–3 years experience as a Bending machine operator in metal manufacturing industry Knowledge of all activities associated with manual and CNC bending machinery, tooling Measuring equipment and machine settings Clean background and able to pass drug test Contact Send resumes to View email address on click.appcast.io Equal Opportunity Employer Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
