Who We Are Cornerstone Private Asset Trust Company, LLC, is a boutique trust company that helps businesses and individuals implement estate planning goals and transition wealth from one generation to the next. With offices in Sioux Falls, SD and Bloomington, MN, Cornerstone provides unique tax advantages and a range of specialized trust services, including trusts under wills, dynasty, charitable and revocable living will trusts. Primary Purpose This role will act as Compliance Officer for Cornerstone and oversee all aspects of Trust Operations. Responsibilities include designing and implementing operations systems to streamline business operations and maximize revenue; managing process and people; and translating strategic vision into actionable tasks. The person will be the AML/BSA expert, creating proactive compliance policy and procedures to mitigate risk. The position is hybrid with some in‑office requirements and the opportunity to work remotely. Candidate must live in, or be open to relocating to, Sioux Falls, SD. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Oversee all aspects of Trust Operations and lead the Trust Operations and Administrative staff. Manage, implement, and own all technology solutions, including updates and employee training. Research and recommend changes when necessary. Manage new initiatives and efficiency projects. Ensure compliance and due diligence, including monthly, quarterly and annual processes and an internal audit program. Act as AML/BSA Compliance Officer. Prepare and participate in annual audits. Produce quarterly and annual reporting for SDDB. Continuously improve processes by analyzing existing procedures and optimizing for accuracy and efficiency. Identify priorities and opportunities for interdepartmental improvements independently. Analyze data to drive decision making. Implement business strategy with direction from the President. Preferred Qualifications And Skills AML/BSA expertise required. Expertise in trust operations required. Demonstrated ability to provide quality, proactive solutions to clients. Desire to help grow the organization while maintaining exemplary client service. Proactive in seeking and implementing feedback. Willingness to contribute beyond core skill set in a small office environment. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills. Creative problem‑solving ability and analytical skills. Strong written, verbal, and communication skills. Meticulous follow‑up and time‑management skills. Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
