Direct message the job poster from MATHESON This position focuses on supporting and enforcing all safety, governmental, and Matheson Tri-Gas (MTG) procedures while meeting operational goals. The role involves promoting the efficient use of cylinder assets, vehicle assets, and plant assets, as well as optimizing costs related to production, distribution, and cylinder maintenance. The position also includes recommending and overseeing the region’s capital investments. Safety, Compliance, Quality - Ensure branch locations operate in compliance with industry regulations, MTG procedures, and safety standards, including FDA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and NFPA. Maintain high safety and quality standards through communication, audits, training, and enforcement of procedures and regulations. Training - Train and guide Customer Service Managers and branch employees in safety, production, and distribution techniques, fostering their development. Asset Utilization - Monitor and control cylinder stock levels across all branches within the region to ensure efficient utilization. Address excess stock or create capital investments as needed. Asset/Facility Maintenance - Oversee maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and buildings at regional branches. Location Planning/Financial Management - Contribute to location operating budgets, monitor plans and goals, and suggest improvements to enhance service and reduce costs. Participate in integrating operations of acquisitions within the region. Ensure locations meet service and quality expectations. Management/Continuous Improvement - Develop staffing and productivity plans, support customer service and sales efforts, control costs, promote safety, and boost morale. Continuously seek process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
