Job Details Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing Job Shift: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 09/21/2026 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 Location: Little Rock, Arkansas Setting: Level IV NICU with a highly specialized neonatal care team Float Requirement: Required within the ICU cluster, including NICU, PICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, and IMU as needed Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holidays as needed Job Requirements Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a Level III-IV NICU At least one prior travel nursing assignment required EPIC experience required Active Arkansas RN license or compact RN license required upon offer Current BLS and NRP certifications required Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients strongly preferred Ability to float within the ICU cluster as needed Must pass fit testing Must test negative for nicotine Level I or II NICU experience will not be considered Responsibilities Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care for critically ill and premature newborns Monitor and manage complex neonatal conditions, including respiratory distress, prematurity-related complications, surgical recovery, and other high-acuity diagnoses Administer medications, treatments, and specialized interventions according to NICU standards Collaborate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapy, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary support teams Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow unit protocols and patient safety standards Support families through education, communication, and compassionate bedside care Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and contribute to a team-oriented healthcare environment Float to designated ICU areas when needed while maintaining excellent patient care standards Apply now to join this travel NICU nursing opportunity in Little Rock, Arkansas, and bring your neonatal critical care expertise to a respected pediatric healthcare team.
