Make a meaningful impact supporting students in grades 3 through 6 as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an onsite contract position near Birmingham, AL. This opportunity offers the flexibility of a part-time schedule—work just two days per week at a single intermediate school, giving your expertise focused reach within the school community.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active Alabama SLP certification (ABESPA and/or DOE; candidates with one cert can begin while securing the other)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience providing speech and language therapy within a school setting is highly desired
• Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of students in 3rd–6th grades
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on supporting educational success

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students, targeting their IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, maintain up-to-date documentation, and track student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student’s communication needs
• Serve as an onsite resource, offering consultation to staff and actively participating in IEP meetings
