Human Resources Manager

HR Manager
Plastics manufacturing plant in the greater Memphis area has immediate need for an HR Manager. This is a 200-employee, union operation. The HR Manager will focus on employee relations; recruiting; affirmation action plans; developing job descriptions; and assisting with performance reviews. Will also be involved in conversations with the union. Candidates must have a BS degree and at least 8+ years HR experience in manufacturing. The HR Manager will work closely with the plant leadership team, most of whom are long-tenured employees. This plant is part of a larger corporation so additional HR resources are available, but this plant HR Manager must be able to make decisions and stand by them. Looking for an HR Manager with high-energy who enjoys interacting with employees on the plant floor.
