Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with the installation of HVAC systems, including equipment placement, ductwork preparation, wiring, and cleanup.
- Organize materials, tools, and equipment to ensure jobsite readiness before and during installation activities.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe material handling practices.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free jobsites throughout the installation process.
- Load and unload installation materials, ensuring all necessary items are available and accounted for.
- Support the removal of old equipment and assist with the installation of new systems as directed by the lead installer.
- Promptly communicate any obstacles, delays, or safety concerns to the lead installer.
- Protect customer property by using floor protection and maintaining a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Ensure all tools, vehicles, and materials are returned to their designated storage locations and remain ready for use.
- Follow company installation standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable code requirements as instructed.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers and customers.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to company safety and installation standards.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as required for HVAC installations.
- Basic organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Professional appearance and conduct, especially when working at customer locations.
- Previous experience in construction, HVAC, or related fields is a plus but not required.
