Associate Housekeeping Technician - Support Services
This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following established standards.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
- Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
- Comply with all infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
- Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department objectives.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous experience in a related cleaning or support services role is advantageous.
- Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.
This position operates on a first shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotations, serving healthcare facilities in the Midwest region of the United States.
