Farmers Insurance - Twin Cities District is expanding and seeking an Entry-Level Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team. This role centers on business development, sales, and marketing, with a clear path toward long‑term career advancement.

Compensation:

$72,000 - $87,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied
• Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs
• Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals
• Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs

• Developing a base for long-term sources of clients by using our proven marketing systems, referrals, occupational and special-interest groups to compile lists of prospects

Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are helpful
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus
• Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed
• Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful
• Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs
