About the Role:

Shane Mason Insurance Agency Inc is looking for a motivated and personable Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team in Plymouth, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career helping clients protect what matters most — all while being part of a supportive, client-focused agency.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and generate new client leads through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
• Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
• Sell personal and/or commercial insurance products including auto, home, life, and business policies
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention and policy renewals
• Process policy applications, endorsements, and changes accurately and efficiently
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and performance goals
• Stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and state insurance regulations

Requirements:

• Active Minnesota Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license (or ability to obtain)
• Previous experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication, persuasion, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently
• Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus
• Ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base
