Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position working night shifts at a hospital in Alexandria, LA, requiring at least 1 year of recent SICU experience and an active LA or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Surgical ICU (SICU) setting within a hospital environment,
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license - Louisiana or Compact license required,
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in a surgical ICU or equivalent specialty,
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted),
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted),
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for ICU RNs,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration,
• One professional reference required,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - local candidates are not eligible,
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
