Job Opportunity – Anesthesiologist – Virginia

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Daytime shifts (typically 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with flexibility to 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM as needed). No weekends, nights, or call coverage required.

• Ongoing locums opportunity at a 466-bed Level I Trauma Center
• Pediatric anesthesiology focus with patients ranging from 2 days to 2 years old (ability to see older pediatric patients depending on schedule)
• Case mix includes general pediatric procedures: hernias, pyloric stenosis, and ENT cases
• Care team model with CRNA supervision at a 1:4 maximum ratio
• Work includes both supervisory responsibilities and managing own cases
• EMR system with Expanse platform; virtual or in-person orientation available

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology with active participation in MOC
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology required
• Current or ability to obtain Virginia state medical license
• Active DEA/CSR required
• Degree from an accredited residency program
