Java AWS Developer
Location - Berkley Heights, NJ Or Alpharetta, NC ( 5 days onsite mandatory from either of these locations) Rate - 70/ Hour
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build cloud-native and serverless solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, and more.
- Lead the development of microservices and API-driven architectures.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Drive performance tuning, optimization, and system scalability initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in architectural reviews.
- Ensure adherence to cloud security and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and backend engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, API Gateway).
- Extensive experience building RESTful services, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong background in DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Git and modern build tools (Maven/Gradle).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
