Contract Product Manager

Job Description We are currently seeking a Contract Product Manager — DTC Ecommerce to own the roadmap and day-to-day execution for a high-traffic direct-to-consumer ecommerce platform. This role is focused on site usability, conversion optimization, and the overall subscription shopping experience. You will translate customer behavior and data into a prioritized roadmap, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, and Marketing to take high-impact initiatives from concept to launch. Our client is a well-established, fast-growing direct-to-consumer grooming and personal care brand known for its disruptive DNA and innovative approach to subscription ecommerce is looking to add a Contract Product Manager to their team. With a loyal customer base and an expanding product lineup, this organization sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer experience — and is looking for someone who can drive real impact on their DTC ecommerce site from day one. Required Skills & Experience Shopify Plus A/B and Multivariate Testing Session Analytics Tools (FullStory, Hotjar, or similar) Subscription Management Platforms (Ordergroove, Recharge, Stay AI, or similar) Agile Tools (Jira, Linear, Asana, or Notion) AI Tools for Product Discovery and Workflow Automation DTC Ecommerce and Subscription Business Experience Desired Skills & Experience 5+ years of product management experience in DTC ecommerce or subscription businesses BS or MS in a related field Klaviyo or similar ESP experience Familiarity with headless commerce platforms or replatforming initiatives Experience with personalization or testing tools (Visually, VWO, or similar) Highly analytical — able to build business cases and quantify revenue impact Excellent communicator — can translate complex data into clear business narratives Self-starter comfortable working independently in a contract capacity What You Will Be Doing 40% Roadmap Ownership & Prioritization 30% Data Analysis, Testing & Experimentation 20% Cross-Functional Collaboration 10% Stakeholder Communication 100% Hands On Daily Responsibilities Own and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog for a DTC ecommerce site focused on usability, conversion, and subscription experience Lead discovery and delivery of site usability improvements informed by session replay analysis, qualitative research, and quantitative experimentation Build and maintain a rigorous A/B and multivariate testing program to continuously improve conversion and engagement metricsDevelop data-driven business cases for roadmap investments including projected impact on conversion, engagement, and revenue Apply AI tools and platforms to product discovery, solution design, and workflow automation Serve as internal authority on subscription platform capabilities — identifying gaps and opportunities in the Shopify Plus and subscription management stack Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Creative, Analytics, and Marketing to align roadmap priorities with business objectives Benefits Competitive Contract Rate (Commensurate with Experience) 3–6 Month Contract with Potential Extension Medical Insurance Dental Benefits Vision Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
