Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitor in Leesburg VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-profile data center location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including interior spaces exterior grounds access points and perimeter areas with attention to site rules and operational needs.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support a professional presence at a technology infrastructure location by communicating clearly with staff contractors and guests while following post orders and shift instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
