IT Project Manager

Job Description

SAIC is hiring for an Enterprise Project Manager (PM) to join a Program Management Office (PMO) team supporting a major state & local government customer. The PM has primary responsibility for managing projects and will be responsible for:

• Establishing and defining project plan requirements.
• Developing schedules and budgets to meet contractual/project requirements.
• Monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
• Reporting on program level schedule & quality adherence to agreed upon standards
  dentifying and resolving project risks and issues; developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Maintaining compliance with Commonwealth of Virginia standard policies, procedures, standards.
• Using and applying industry best practices, techniques, and standards in project management.

Qualifications

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing projects and project scheduling. Experience with state & local government customers is a strong plus.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Prior experience working in or supporting a PMO.
• Significant experience in supervising Project Analysts, supporting project scheduling and managing projects.
• Significant experience developing risk management and mitigation planning.
• Significant experience supporting project scheduling and managing projects.
• Prior experience in Supplier Management.
• Experience working in ITSM.
• Prior experience working with ServiceNow.
• Prior experience developing OLAs, Governance, Policy, and Procedures.
• Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more of related experience.
• PMP Certification Required .
• ITIL Certification Preferred.
• CSM Certification Preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Visio, SharePoint, and Adobe Products.
• Proficient with MS Project Professional or Standard; MS Project Online preferred.
• Prior experience working with ServiceNow project scheduling function preferred.
• Prior experience working with or for a Commonwealth of VA Agency or VITA desired.
