Jr. AccountantThe Jr. Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports. The opportunity will be right for someone who is high-energy, extremely organized, and has the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Although it is robust in scope, this position offers great work-life balance, steady hours and flexibility.ResponsibilityResponsible for Sales Recognition and Purchase RecognitionResponsible for the Accounts Receivable function, including the timely application of payment transactions, assisting in collections and generation of invoicing as necessaryResponsible for the Accounts Payable to assemble, review, verify invoices and reconcile accounts payable transactionsManage Sales Commissions for Reps and DistributorsPerform bank reconciliations, investigate and resolve differencesMaintain assets management and Inventory/COGS analysisAssist in managing full-cycle month-end and quarter-end close including bank reconciliation, journal entries, general ledger adjustments and financial reportingAssist for Sales and Use Tax filingsComply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reportsPerform other duties as assigned by managerSkills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingMaster's degree in Accounting preferredStrong mathematical and analytical skillsProficient in word processing and spreadsheet softwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong understanding of federal, state and local tax regulationsERP software experience highly desiredQuickBooks experience preferredMust have excellent work ethics, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.Experience working with Korean based company a plusBilingual in Korean, highly desiredWhat's On OfferHealth/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance at no employee premium (including dependent coverage)401K retirement plan with 5% matchingGenerous PTO and paid holidaysNo Visa Sponsor
