As our Cook, you'll play an important role in providing residents with nutritious, flavorful meals while helping maintain a safe and efficient kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare fresh, appetizing meals according to approved menus and recipes
Ensure meals meet residents' nutritional needs and dietary preferences
Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards
Minimize food waste while monitoring quality and presentation
Supervise and support serving staff during meal service
Maintain cleanliness and proper care of kitchen equipment
Help create a positive dining experience for every resident
Work collaboratively with the dining services team to ensure smooth daily operations
Must be 21 years of age or older
Minimum of 2 years of cooking/food service experience
Previous supervisory experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, organized, and committed to quality service
Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check
Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Morning and afternoon/evening shifts
Some weekend availability required
No late-night shifts!
