Carmel, NY | $19.00 per hour
Join the Arete team and take the next step in your career! We’re looking for dependable, motivated Prep Cooks to support our client by preparing fresh ingredients and helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
Position Details
Job Title: Prep Cook
Location: Carmel, New York
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating weekends
Start Date: ASAP
️ What You’ll Do
Prepare ingredients for daily meals and food service.
Wash, peel, chop, and portion fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
Assist cooks with meal preparation as needed.
Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen.
Store food properly and follow sanitation standards.
What We’re Looking For
Previous food preparation or kitchen experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Ability to work early morning shifts and rotating weekends.
Reliable transportation.
Must successfully complete required background check and drug screening.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
