Job Duties

• Develop Individualized Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and create tailored treatment strategies to support their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily life activities.
• Collaborate within Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and their caregivers about therapy methods to encourage continued progress at home.
• Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Keep track of clinical developments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on target.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or further certifications.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary.
