Certified Surgical Technologist

This position requires a certified surgical technologist to work in the operating room. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Technologists will be required to be on call with rotating weekends. The unit consists of 7 operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1:1. Staffing includes registered nurses, CSTs, an OR aide, anesthesia techs, and schedulers. Equipment used includes Stryker, Arthrex, and Olympus. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling options may include 4 ten-hour shifts or 3 twelve-hour shifts. There may be floating between main operating room areas and endoscopy. The department values a great team environment. The unit offers advanced equipment such as the MAKO robot, DaVinci robot, and Medtronic Stealth.
